4 Everyday Morning Habits That Can Have A Big Impact On Your Energy

When your days are filled with tasks, errands, appointments and personal obligations, it’s easy to forget and skip the basics. Many of the habits that we are gonna to talk about may seem like “common sense”, but when you try to incorporate these habits into your daily routine, you might be surprised to see how big of an impact these morning habits can have on your life.

  1. Avoid hitting the snooze button

Many of us need an alarm clock to wake up in the morning. If you are constantly hitting the snooze button, it might be an indicator that you have a poor sleeping habit. Those extra 10 minutes of sleep, aren’t necessarily healthy restorative sleep to stay energized during the day.

To avoid the snooze button, place your alarm clock/phone on the table or somewhere else that you have to get out of the bed to turn it off.

  1. Make Your Bed

When you are facing big tasks in your life, sometimes it’s the little details that can help. Making your bed only takes a few minutes, and gives you a sense that you have accomplished something, things are in control and it will encourage you to continue to do the others tasks during the day.

     3. Give Yourself A Nice Stretch

Nothing feels quite as amazing as a nice stretch right after you roll out of your bed. A 10-minute morning yoga flow can help center your mind, balance your body and is an energizing start to the day.

  1. Eat Breakfast At A Actual Table

Taking 10 minutes to actually enjoy your oatmeal or smoothie is never too much to ask of yourself. Eating breakfast at a actual table means that you value yourself enough to take a few minutes to consciously nourish that hard-working body of yours. Sit and appreciate the food - try it next time!
