A Sweet Dessert with The Power of Superfoods!
Sometimes we crave something sweet and indulgent. While it's important to treat yourself, it doesn't necessarily mean you have to go totally against your healthy practices. Try out our superfood recipe for Healthworks Avocado Cacao Muffins! We promise that they will definitely hit your sweet tooth!
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoon Healthworks Cacao Powder
- 4 tablespoon Healthworks Cacao Nibs
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup mashed avocado
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Scoop out the inside of the avocados and mash or puree in a blender. Add the water, vanilla extract sugar and mix.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder, cacao powder and salt then stir in the cacao nibs.
- Combine dry and wet ingredients and fold into muffin wrappers.
- Bake for 20 minutes.
