What We Think, We Become--4 Steps To Reconnect Yourself
Living in such hustle and bustle or in a city, we often find ourselves experiencing some physical and mental fatigue.
It’s time to take a deep breath, step back and make some changes, to reconnect with your higher self in some simple ways:-
- Quieting your mind
What would happen if you replaced 10 minutes of social media scrolling in the morning with 10 minutes of meditation? Meditation allows you to silence your thoughts, through breathing and maintaining stillness.
It also allows you to go deeper in your mind and reawaken your most authentic self. Sparing 10 minutes in the morning for meditation can be a life-changing habit.
- Seeing the world through the eyes of love
In Buddhism, there is a saying: “What We Think, We Become.” The vibrations we send out in the universe will eventually come back to us. Allow yourself to see things on their good side. Try to find the positive side in all situations, and accept it as a learning experience. Tune into our divine nature and see the world through the loving eyes, the entire world can function very differently.
- Letting go of unhealthy patterns
Whether it is a bad habit, an unhappy relationship, an unequal friendship, just tell yourself to let go. Letting go of anything that no longer serves you is not a sign of weakness, it is a careful decision to make room for something or someone that can bring out the best in you.
- Eat to nourish your body
“You are what you eat.” The things that you put in your body affect how you feel. Meat, dairy and processed foods often take a longer time to digest, hence using up vital energy. Consume the right food and offer nourishment to your body and mind. Try incorporating more fresh fruits and vegetables into your diet, which can help you feel lighter and more vibrant.
