Avocado Chocolate Muffins with Cacao Nibs

Ingredients 6 tablespoon Healthworks Cacao Powder 4 tablespoon Healthworks Cacao Nibs 1 1/2 cups plain flour 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup mashed avocado 1 1/2 cups water 2 tablespoon vanilla extract 2 teaspoon baking powder Instructions Preheat the oven to 350F. Scoop out the inside of the avocados and mash or puree in a blender. Add the water, vanilla extract sugar and mix. Sift in the flour, baking powder, cacao powder and salt then stir in the cacao nibs. Combine dry and wet ingredients and fold into muffin wrappers. Bake for 20 minutes.


Mint Chip Protein Shake

Ingredients 1/2 cup fresh coconut milk 1/2 cup packed spinach leaves 1/2 avocado 1/4 cup packed fresh mint leaves 1-2 drops peppermint extract (or peppermint essential oil) 1 cup ice cubes 1/8 cup raw maple syrup (to taste, depending on your sweet tooth) 2 teaspoons Healthworks Cacao Nibs Instructions Blend everything but the cacao nibs in a high-power blender until smooth and frosty. Add cacao nibs and blend again to break them into small bits. Serve and garnish with additional cacao nibs if desired.


Sweet Cherry Chia Breakfast Jar

Ingredients handful of fresh cherries, pitted handful of crushed pistachios sprinkle of Healthworks Cacao Nibs 1 cup of nut milk 2 tablespoons Healthworks Chia Seeds 1 date 1 teaspoon vanilla paste 1 teaspoon Healthworks Coconut Oil 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon pinch of nutmeg pinch of flaky sea salt Instructions Blend your nut milk with the date, vanilla, coconut oil, cinnamon, nutmeg and sea salt Stir the chia seeds into the sweet milk and let set in the fridge for 30 minutes so that the chia swell and thicken. Cacao Banana Smoothie

Ingredients 2 tablespoon Healthworks Cacao Nibs, more for garnish (optional) 1 1/2 cup frozen banana, peeled and chopped 4 dates, pitted and soaked for 10-20 mins. 1/2 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk 1/2 cup water 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ice (optional) coconut flakes, garnish (optional) Instructions Place all ingredients except for garnish in a blender (preferably high-speed), and puree until completely smooth.  Pour into a large glass, garnish with coconut flakes and cacao nibs.  


Breakfast Muesli

Ingredients 2 tablespoons Healthworks Cacao Nibs 2 tablespoons Healthworks Ground Flaxseed 1 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup rye flakes 1/4 cup coconut flakes 1/4 cup pecans or other nuts 1/4 cup slivered almonds 1/4 cup raisins 2 dates, chopped Instructions In a bowl combine oats, rye flakes, dried fruit, nuts, and cacao nibs. Mix well. Store muesli in an airtight container.  Note: If you include the flaxseeds and dates, store in fridge, otherwise it keeps for 2 months at room temperature.
